The Warehouse Manager in a refrigeration warehouse in Kidderminster is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of goods, maintaining the integrity of refrigeration systems, and leading a team to meet operational targets. A full UK driving licence is essential for tasks such as transporting goods between sites and managing logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
* Team Leadership: Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
* Inventory Control: Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track stock levels, manage stock rotation, and ensure accurate stock records.
* Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations, particularly concerning refrigeration systems and handling of perishable goods.
* Logistics Coordination: Plan and coordinate transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
* Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, staff performance, and maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably within a refrigeration or cold storage environment.
* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in warehouse management or logistics.
* Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is essential for transporting goods and managing logistics.
