About the RoleA leading company inwarehousing and logisticsis seeking aStores Assistantto join their fast-paced and dynamic team. This role is ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented individual with experience instock management, order picking, and dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Receiving & Storing:Unpack, receive, and store goods safely and securely.
* Order Preparation & Dispatch:Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and dispatching of goods to customers.
* Warehouse Organisation:Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work areas.
* Stock Control:Assist in stock management and rotation to optimise warehouse efficiency.
* Health & Safety Compliance:Adhere to company health and safety policies.
* Additional Duties:Undertake other tasks as required to support the department.
Requirements
* Experience in asimilar warehouse or stores role.
* Validforklift and order-picker truck licence(Counterbalance & Reach preferred).
* Ability tolift and move heavy partsas required.
* Strongteamwork and communication skills.
* Self-motivated, methodical, and able towork independently.
* Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business.
