Title: Manager, Talent & Engagement
Location: NI/UK Preferred.
Reports to: VP HR, Materials Processing
Matrix to: Senior Director Global Talent and Engagement
What you will do
This is a key role for the Materials Processing Segment of the Terex Corporation, driving the Talent & Engagement agenda. This role ensures the meticulous implementation of Terex processes and programs to support continuous improvement and high performance across the Materials Processing Segment, specifically in terms of increasing the quality and quantity of early talent and continuously improving both team member learning and development activities. This role also supports, encourages and drives collaboration and oversight for all engagement activity across the portfolio of businesses, including the management of the Terex Survey and resulting site action plans. The role acts as a key liaison and contributor to the wider Terex Talent and Engagement team across the Corporate team and other Terex Segments.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Drive the implementation of segment and Terex learning and development programs including: Future Leader Programs, Supervising for Success, Managing for Success, Accelerating for Success and Leading for Success.
2. Ensure all sites have an implementation plan for delivery of the above programs to achieve Terex completion % targets. Maintain catalogue of trainers for these programs and ensure each attendee is tracked via Terex University on Team Member Central.
3. Lead the agenda and deliver on the MP wide goals for Early Talent, established annually with each business, and reviewed quarterly with Segment President. Ensure effective programs and plans are in place to support these Early Talent Programs, continuously monitoring and seeking to create year-on-year improvements.
4. Lead the co-ordination and review of all activities associated with the Terex Perspectives Survey, including quarterly reviews of each site survey action plan by Segment President.
5. Lead the coordination, review and presentation of the Annual Segment Talent Review Process, including the presentations to the Corporate team annually. Coordinate and collaborate with Segment President and VP of HR to prepare quarterly talent presentation of Materials Processing senior leadership to present to Terex ELT.
6. Manage the Segment annual and mid-year performance review process.
7. Collaborate with all sites and collate user feedback to support the ongoing improvement of the new Terex HCM system (WorkDay)
8. Provide support and guidance to sites to achieve target % completion of the Culture and Inclusion Roadmap in conjunction with the Corporate C&I Team.
9. Encourage participation in Terex recognition activities such Crowning Achievement and associated quarterly spotlights. Highlight site level success to internal communications team to share across the Terex intranet.
10. Coordinate and lead the monthly Segment Global HR calls.
11. Support new leadership onboarding including New Leader Assimilation to drive effective induction for new leaders into senior leadership positions in MP businesses.
12. Serve as a member of the global Talent & Engagement Council to plan meeting agendas and facilitate the sharing of ideas and best practices.
What you will bring
13. CIPD or degree qualified level or equivalent
14. Experience in the design and delivery of development programs is required.
15. Well-rounded HR experience with an excellent understanding of the core HR Generalist activities, coupled with some knowledge and experience in Talent Management and Training and Development.
16. Experience working in manufacturing environment is preferred.

Travel
Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally to deliver training and support site engagement (up to 25% travel).
