Police Staff Investigator needed in Gloucester Paying £19.24 per hr ref 373314 Full time hours on a temporary basis
Responsibilities
* Conduct proportionate investigations into a range of crime types
* Obtain and record witness statements in accordance with legislation
* Prepare and manage investigation files for criminal justice processes
* Carry out suspect and witness interviews (following PIP1/PIP2 guidance)
* Gather, analyse and evaluate intelligence and evidence
* Conduct house-to-house enquiries and CCTV/tracking enquiries
* Liaise with victims, keeping them updated on investigation progress
* Support officers with case building, file management and disclosure
* Maintain accurate records on relevant police systems
