We are currently working alongside an established M and E business to recruit Contracts Manager FM (Trainee) to join their team on a permanent basis. The job is based in Newtownabbey. This is the perfect opportunity for FM professionals to gain expertise in Contracts Management and develop their skill set.
Responsibilities
* Supporting the day to day management of FM contracts, ensuring KPIs and service levels are met
* Preparing reports, proposals, costings, and maintaining accurate contract records
* Coordinating subcontractors and assisting with procurement activities
* Building and maintaining positive client and stakeholder relationships
* Attending meetings, preparing packs, reports, and minutes, and supporting issue resolution
* Scheduling and monitoring maintenance tasks, liaising with site teams for safe, efficient delivery
* Tracking job progress and updating CAFM systems accurately
* Assisting with compliance checks, audits, SLA monitoring, and quality assurance
* Supporting budgeting, quotes, cost tracking, and commercial reporting
* Participating in structured training and mentoring to develop into an FM Contracts Manager
Requirements
* GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths (Essential)
* Experience in administrative, coordination, customer service, or office-based roles (Essential)
* Managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment (Essential)
* Communicating effectively, both written and verbally (Essential)
* Completing further education in business, engineering, facilities management, or related field would be desirable but not essential
* Undertaking IOSH or other basic health & safety training desirable but not essential
* Applying knowledge of Facilities Management or building services (Desirable)
* Using CAFM systems (Desirable)
* Supporting contract administration or operational
