Business Development Executive Location : Peterborough Salary £28000 - £30000 plus commission ( un-capped ) Hours : Dealing with the US market, you will be working US hours. Monday – Friday 12.30pm - 1700 office based in Peterborough, (Apply online only) based from home. Due to the hours, candidates must live within a 30 minute commutable distance from Peterborough. The candidate MUST have worked extensively in a telesales environment, be used to cold calling and have a proven sales track record. A true sales person in effect with that ‘competitive sales hunger’. The role will also involve attending conventions and shows (UK) and be present on the stand at events. Essentially we are looking for a sales candidate who can demonstrate sales achievements and has proven stability and longevity. Role: Develop and establish long-term relationships and identify potential new accounts. Grow the database of clients through use of all media. Ensure that orders are processed and prioritized in a timely manner to meet the required delivery date. Manage sales objectives and developments in relation to accounts. Implement and administer planning and forecasting procedures with customers to increase sales and profits. Work to achieve set sales targets. Personal Attributes Adopts a consultative approach to selling High degree of computer literacy and numeracy. Ability to analyse and evaluate information. Numerate. Ability to work under pressure with limited supervision. Ability to be tactful, assertive, resilient & flexible with a mature approach to work.
