The Role:
* We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join their growing Data & Analytics team. This role is ideal for someone who wishes to develop their data and analytical skillset but also develop people and a project management skills with the support of Senior management.
* The Senior Data Analyst will be a key support to the wider team in servicing a client's business.
* The role will own the reporting processes carried out primarily within the digital team, from Google Paid Search to Paid Social and Programmatic Display, migrating all reports into more streamlined dashboards as well as being responsible for exploring the capabilities of both existing tools and researching new ones; assisting the Head of Digital in writing the business case for all recommendations.
* Working closely with Account Directors, Business Directors and the Head of Digital to develop in-house data analysis products and processes.
Experience Required:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a vital role in analysing complex data sets and providing valuable insights to drive business decisions, but also in the collection of data and in developing automation (such as scripts) to improve workflows across the company. As such you will need experience that includes:
* Conducting thorough data cleaning, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify key metrics and develop data-driven strategies.
* Building visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards to present data findings.
* Conducting advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
* Creating comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate data insights to stakeholders.
* Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices to enhance data analytics capabilities.
* Managing Junior Data Analyst workloads and training regimes across all areas of responsibility – Data Analysis, Modelling, Scripting
Preferable experience:
* As you would also be owning and developing Google Ad Scripts for the agency, experience here is preferable.
* Owning AdOps across the agency, and helping this develop under the guidance of the Head of Digital
Skills Required:
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
* 4 years proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a marketing or agency setting,
* Solid knowledge of data cleaning techniques and best practices to ensure data accuracy.
* Proficiency in dashboard building tools, especially Looker Data Studio, with experience in Tableau and Power BI a bonus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
* Experience in several programming languages such as Python, SQL, JavaScript and R.
* Experience managing several projects/deliveries simultaneously.
* Experience with developing and applying statistical models.
