ABF is a multinational business with over 125,000 employees worldwide. The ABF Grocery division, of which we are part, contains a number of household name brands including Kingsmill, Patak's, Blue Dragon, Raja Spices, Jordans and Dorset cereals, Ryvita and Silver Spoon.
Our Grocery Service Centre, based near Liverpool, is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies within the ABF Grocery division. Supporting some of our well-known brands such as Kingsmill, Pataks, Blue Dragon, Jordans, Ryvita and Silver Spoon, amongst others. We deliver Shared Service activities across a wide range of disciplines including Customer Services, Consumer Care, Finance, Payroll, HR and IS.
We are looking for an Integration Developer to join the team on a fixed term basis for 12 months. Technically strong, we would expect you to have a sound working knowledge of interfaces, integration or ETL technologies and gained a minimum of 3 years' experience in IT within a development environment, preferably ITIL accredited.
The role requires on site presence at our Liverpool site 2-3 days per week. Strong problem-solving skills and proven experience of breaking down complex situations to discover and resolve root causes. With excellent communication skills that enable you to convey technical information easily, you will be a strong self-starter, comfortable working to tight deadlines and a keen desire to succeed.
Key Accountabilities
• Integration Design: Design integration solutions that meet the organisation's needs, identify potential challenges, and propose appropriate solutions.
• Development and Coding: Develop and maintain integration solutions using a variety of programming languages, APIs, and tools.
• Technical Design: Contribute to the technical design and architecture of software applications.
• API Development: Create and maintain APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that enable seamless communication between different software applications.
• Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to integrations, such as data discrepancies, performance bottlenecks, and communication errors.
• Data Mapping and Transformation: Perform data mapping and transformation between various systems to ensure accurate data exchange.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data during integration processes.

Essential Skills
• API or interface / Integration Development or equivalent experience along with SQL Query and a strong understanding of data structures and relational databases.
