Production Operative £31,158 per annum (starting salary) Wrexham Mornings, Afternoons and Nights Permanent The Role of a Production Operative An opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment, responsible for manufacturing products safely and efficiently while meeting quality and operational standards. The role involves operating machinery, following procedures, and supporting continuous improvement. The Role: Manufacture products in line with process specifications. Follow standard operating procedures and safe equipment use. Set up and operate machines, including sintering, pressing, and cutting equipment. Carry out machine start-up checks and ensure safe operation. Monitor production and complete accurate stock checks. Maintain health, safety, and quality systems with up-to-date records. Follow company procedures and support risk assessments. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Use measuring equipment to ensure quality standards. Conduct inspections, testing, and record results. Identify defects and support corrective actions. Support process improvements and new product introductions. Keep training and skills up to date.
