Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Rota basis - 3 x 12.5 hour shifts)

The Service
The Mews is a PBS service with 12 single-occupancy apartments in West Belfast. It provides Person-Centred supported living solutions for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and complex needs. The service operates 24hr under the PBS Framework, offering care and support.
The Role
As part of the Living Options services, the Team Leader supports the Registered Manager/Deputy Manager to meet the Domiciliary Care Agencies Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 and the DHSS&PS Domiciliary Care Agency Minimum Standards. Responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the development and implementation of personalised care/support plans and risk assessments.
2. Ensuring the delivery of quality care and support.
3. Managing budgets and resources.
4. Mentoring and supervising Support Team members.
Team Leaders must be flexible and available to work unsociable hours, including public holidays on a rotational basis.

Essential Criteria
1. Professional qualification (e.g., Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or relevant Degree) with registration or eligibility for registration on NISCC.
2. Two years' experience in a social care setting.
3. Knowledge of supporting people with learning disabilities.
4. Experience managing behaviours that challenge.
5. Effective communication and IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
