Join Our Team as a Structured Cabling Engineer!
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for a Structured Cabling Engineer / Managed Services Engineer to join our dynamic team! This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite at various customer locations in and around the East Midlands.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will engage in a variety of tasks including break-fix solutions and installations. If you have experience in the Fibre/Data/Voice arena and are eager to expand your skill set, this role is perfect for you!
Your Key Responsibilities

Safety First: Always operate in a safe manner, adhering to NG Bailey's Health & Safety policies while promoting a culture of safety.

Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with all NG Bailey policies, processes, and procedures.

Quality Assurance: Deliver work that meets and exceeds client expectations while following vendor and manufacturer guidelines.
*
Material Management: Maintain control of materials and keep accurate records of deliveries and project stock.
*
Reporting: Provide timely and accurate internal and customer project reports, including timesheets and completion certificates.
*
Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with customers through efficient project delivery, optimizing future opportunities.
*
Compliance: Ensure installations meet internal specifications and statutory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience with fibre, data, and voice cabling.
* Proven ability to locate and rectify faults.
* Solid experience working on ‘live’ customer sites.
* Ability to interpret construction drawings.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Willingness to work away from home and out of hours.
Important Notes
* Security Clearance will be required for this role, and we will assist you in obtaining it.
* A valid Driving Licence is essential.
