We’re looking for an experienced Senior Import Operator to join a thriving freight forwarding team in Hounslow. You’ll take ownership of the full import process, ensure customs compliance, and deliver outstanding service to our clients. This role suits someone well-organised, proactive, and confident in managing operations from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee full import cycle, including customs procedures and documentation.
* Liaise with customers, agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
* Resolve issues or queries promptly and professionally.
* Support the team during absences and help train junior staff.
* Attend customer meetings and identify opportunities to add value.
What You’ll Bring:
* Solid experience in import freight forwarding and customs procedures.
* Excellent communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
* A proactive mindset with a strong focus on customer service.
