We are excited to share that we now have a new opening for a salaried GP to join the Unity Healthcare team following positive growth in the organisation. The role will be working between all four of our sites; Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham and Glemsford, Haverhill being the main surgery. We have vacancies for the following but can be flexible around your other commitments: 1 role for 5 sessions 1 role for 6 sessions 1 role for 2 sessions What’s unique about Unity? We are a fully salaried GP team, employed by the supportive Suffolk GP Federation. Unity’s new Hub model is a transformative approach designed to enhance patient care and staff well-being. It allows us to address the limitations of restricted physical clinical space by providing dedicated clinical office space where patient contact is triaged, and remote consultations offered where suitable. Face-to-face appointments continue at our four existing sites (Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham & Glemsford). Our attention is on developing our workforce model to support our growing organisation. Our clinical staff have a ‘portfolio role’, rotating between ‘Speed Triager’, ‘Hub Remote Consultor’, ‘Face-to-face clinician’ and ‘GP Site Lead’. We are also making a significant investment in a new, larger management structure in order to meet Unity’s 2028 vision which includes: Embedded in our local community; working with the integrated neighbourhood teams in partnership with West Suffolk Foundation Trust. About the Candidate All applicants should have the following qualifications: Fully qualified GP with GMC registration MRCGP Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP Be on the NHSE medical performers list Evidence of last appraisal and skills, including: Outstanding level of clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with that of an experienced GP Understanding of the importance of evidence-based practice About Us We can offer you: A job where your voice is heard; we all work together and are never afraid to be ambitious or do things differently A place within a large multidisciplinary team with a proven track record of delivering positive change.
