Position: Key Account ManagerLocation: Buckinghamshire - Hybrid - £45,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance Job Description:We are seeking a Key Account Manager to maintain and expand relationships with strategically important customers in the food industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.Act as the main point of contact for key customers.Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits.Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts).Prepare reports on account status.Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.Requirements:Proven experience as a key account manager in the packaging industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field.Preferred:Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.Strong verbal and written communication skills.
