Description
The In‑House Pensions Solicitor will be:
* Identifying and mitigating legal risk across DB/DC schemes
* Drafting and approving scheme docs, commercial agreements, policy and procedures
* Supporting colleagues on scheme design changes, disputes, and investments
* Providing legal counsel, second‑line compliance assurance
* Developing and delivering legal training for colleagues
* Managing relationships with external legal advisors
* Advising on legal/regulatory changes and governance issues
Profile
The In‑House Pensions Solicitor should be:
* A solicitor (or equivalent) with 2+ years PQE
* Experienced in drafting and advising on defined benefit pension schemes
* Skilled in dispute resolution relating to schemes
* Familiar with pension investments and defined contribution arrangements
