He project is a refurb of a medical storage facility on site over the next 10 -212 weeks as part of a larger programme of works over the next 34 weeks .
We are looking for an addition to the team to be out on site and ensure the sub-contractors are working to programme and quality driving the teams to get the project on track and handed over with a quality finish
Reporting to the project manager you will be out on site Managing the mechanical and electrical sub-contractors from technical queries to inspecting the quality of work and dealing with
Candidates are welcomed from a building services Degree qualified Career path or from a trades background, more important is having significant start to finish major project experience delivering the services packages for main contractors on jobs in excess of £ 2 million in the past. .
ideally some commercial or laboratory. hospital experience would be advantageous but a good handle in the mechanical and electrical services installation for UK major projects is more important
you will have previously worked for either a main contractor or with an M&E sub-contractor on similar sized fast track schemes looking after sub-contractors form initial induction to daily walk rounds and problem solving though to project updates in the weekly progress meetings .
This project is due to hit site in 1-2 weeks and a commissioning period also planned in .
Candidates will possess excellent technical knowledge,, communication and negotiation skills, strong planning and problem solving ability, initiative and a positive approach, In terms of character, you will be a highly driven, positive team player, ambitious and determined, resourceful and perform well under pressure
You will ideally have a proven track record of successful major project delivery
