Hours: Full-time | 7am-7pm | 3-4 days per week, including alternate weekends

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a well-regarded nursing home located in the Sleaford area. This is a fantastic role for a compassionate and driven nurse who thrives in a leadership position and is passionate about delivering outstanding care.
About the Role of Deputy Manager:
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you'll work closely with the Home Manager to lead the care and nursing teams, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered every day. You'll also support with clinical governance, compliance, medication management, and staff supervision-creating a culture of kindness, quality, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities for the Deputy Manager:
Support the Home Manager with daily operations, compliance, and care delivery
Lead by example and foster a positive team culture
Conduct clinical audits, medication rounds, and competency checks
Oversee care plans and ensure regular updates and reviews
Mentor and supervise staff to develop skills and confidence
Coordinate with external professionals and families to ensure quality outcomes
Maintain high standards in safeguarding, infection control, and regulatory compliance
What You'll Need to be the Deputy Manager:
NMC registration as an RGN, RMN, or RNLD
At least 3 years' experience in a residential or nursing home setting
1+ years' experience supporting people living with dementia
Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills
Live within 30 minutes of Sleaford
Preferred (but not essential):
Experience in a similar deputy or clinical lead role
Knowledge of CQC standards and person-centred care planning
Driving licence (for commuting and external liaison)
