About the role
This is a permanent full‑time Specialist Occupational Therapist post (Band 6) with a strong re‑ablement focus, based at Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie. The successful candidate will work across the East S Integrated Health and Social Care Team, including the sister hospital in Bonar Bridge and the surrounding remote and rural community.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide occupational therapy services across ward and community settings.
* Supervise and manage the day‑to‑day workload of Band 4 assistants.
* Support student placements within the department.
* Engage in regular supervision, annual appraisals and personal development planning.
* Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registered with the Health Professional Council.
* Broad skill mix with a willingness to expand skill set in a fully integrated setting.
* Experience in a similar integrated team setting is highly desirable.

* Full UK driving licence – a pool car will be provided, but applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes if required.
* Full‑time commitment of 37 hours per week.
