We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prototype Wirer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in wiring and assembly, particularly in prototype or low-volume production environments. You will be working on cutting-edge projects, helping to build and wire bespoke electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities for the prototype wirer:
* Build and wire prototype electrical assemblies to engineering drawings, wiring schedules, and schematics
* Soldering, crimping, and assembling cable looms and harnesses
* Fault-finding and resolving wiring issues during builds
* Liaising with design and engineering teams to support ongoing development work
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Skills &; Requirements for this prototype wirer:
* Proven experience as a prototype wirer, electrical assembler, or similar
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
* Excellent soldering, crimping, and hand tool skills
* Strong attention to detail and quality-focused
* Background in Automotive (Ideal)
