The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team. You will work closely with the class teacher to support learning, provide targeted interventions, and help create a positive and engaging classroom environment for children aged 5-7.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils' learning in class, in small groups, and on a one-to-one basis.
* Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom resources.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* Support the emotional, social, and behavioural development of pupils.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events and activities.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience of working with children in KS1 (desirable but not essential).
* Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent).
* Is patient, adaptable, and able to use initiative.
* Works well as part of a team and is committed to the school's ethos.
* Has good communication and organisational skills.
