The role offers flexibility around how hours are worked across the week and would suit an experienced finance professional seeking a senior, impactful role on reduced hours. Reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, this position plays a key role in supporting the wider organisation by ensuring the finance function works effectively alongside operational teams. The role also includes responsibility for supporting and developing the finance team and deputising for the CFO where required. The role will include Supporting the preparation of annual budgets, cashflows and financial planning Producing and reviewing monthly management accounts and budget monitoring reports Ensuring accuracy of the trial balance, journals and balance sheet reconciliations Providing financial insight and advice to senior stakeholders and budget holders Supporting audit preparation and statutory reporting Overseeing income, invoicing and cash collection processes Supporting improvements to financial processes, systems and controls Managing and developing members of the finance team Providing ad hoc analysis and financial insight About you Part or fully qualified accountant, or qualified by experience Strong management accounting and budgeting experience Confident working with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams Previous experience in a senior or management level finance role Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems Organised, proactive and able to work to deadlines Supportive leadership style with a collaborative approach This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to balance senior level finance responsibility with flexibility.
