JOB TITLE: Security Deputy Manager
LOCATION: GLOUCESTERSHIRE
SHIFT PATTERN: 4 ON 4 OFF ROTA, 42 hours per week
PAY RATE: £ per hour
ROLE OVERVIEW
ABM UK is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Security Deputy Manager to join our team. As a Security Deputy Manager, you will support the Security Manager in overseeing the security operations across multiple locations. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of staff, customers, and property. Your role will involve implementing security procedures, conducting staff training, and handling security-related incidents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist the Security Manager in developing and implementing security strategies and procedures
2. Supervise and coordinate the daily security operations
3. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant security policies, regulations, and standards
5. Provide training and guidance to security staff
6. Investigate security-related incidents and prepare incident reports
7. Maintain strong relationships with clients, employees, and external stakeholders
8. Monitor CCTV and other security systems
9. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging security technologies
Requirements
10. Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the security industry
11. Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and regulations
12. SIA Door Supervisor or Close Protection license
13. Excellent communication and leadership skills
14. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
15. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage emergencies
16. Proficient in using security systems and software
17. Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
18. Valid UK driving license
