Cruise Product Executive
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic product development team within a leading UK travel organisation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cruise sales or product, ready to utilise your extensive cruise product knowledge as a Cruise Product Executive. In this role you’ll be responsible for sourcing and developing a portfolio of group cruise programmes and bespoke cruise products, ensuring travel agent partners have access to competitive, high-quality packages. Salary of £30k to £35k plus performance related bonuses.
Cruise Product Executive – Role & Responsibilities:
Liaise with cruise suppliers to source, create and develop a wide range of cruise products across ocean, river, luxury & expedition.
Support the creation and delivery of a programme of group allocations across a portfolio of product.
Support with pricing, logistics, and inventory to ensure competitiveness and differentiation
Provide travel partners with exclusive group offers and compelling cruise packages
Source and manage a diverse portfolio of cruise products including ocean, luxury, river, and expedition itineraries
Negotiate preferential pricing, group benefits, and exclusive offers, ensuring product competitiveness, profitability, and alignment with partner needs
Build and maintain strong relationships with cruise lines, tour operators, and strategic partners
Represent the business at trade events, supplier meetings, and industry forums when required
Act as a key contact on cruise product and group business matters
Deliver training, product updates, and sales support to help grow cruise revenue
Monitor performance across inventory, sales, profitability, and engagement
Cruise Product Executive - Skills & Experience Required:
Extensive cruise sales / operations or product experience with strong mainstream and luxury cruise knowledge ideally with a tour operations background.
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Experience in product development would be ideal but not essential
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
Highly organised and capable of managing and prioritising workload
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office; basic image editing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
High attention to detail and proofreading accuracy
Cruise Product Executive - Key Benefits & Additional Info:
£30k to £35k basic salary with performance-based bonus.
Monday to Friday 9 to 5.30 (occasional weekend working may be required to attend relevant shows and events on an ad hoc basis)
