They're searching for a permanent Technical Maintenance Engineer who’s passionate about keeping machinery running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities
* Conduct regular inspections on machinery and equipment to spot potential issues early
* Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure maximum uptime
* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures swiftly
* Keep detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and upgrades
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimise processes and reliability
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures during all maintenance activities
Who would be a great fit
* HND or Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
* 3+ years of experience in maintenance engineering in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Solid knowledge of maintenance practices, troubleshooting techniques, and equipment operation
* Experience with PLCs, HVAC, and automation systems is highly desirable
* Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive, team-friendly attitude
* Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure
