Our client is a well-known distributor of FMCG with a vast network across the UK. You will work a day shift, Monday to Friday and will spread your time across the two sites.
As Transport Manager - Dual Site, you will be supporting the operational activities of a busy team with responsibilities across people management, compliance, and H&S.
* Ensuring all drivers are carrying out their duties in a safe and timely manner and in line with company policies
* Daily people management duties such as recruitment, training, rotas, holidays, and sickness
* Vehicle and route planning
* Ensuring that the team delivers the highest levels of customer service
* Correct reporting of incidents, accidents and vehicles defects
* Ongoing support to the senior management team with continuous improvement and operational efficiencies
Candidates wishing to be considered should meet the following requirements:
* Knowledge and understanding of transport and vehicle compliance - Essential
* Previous experience managing drivers - Essential
* Ability to travel between Heathrow and Essex locations - Essential

Upon your appointment to the role of Transport Manager - Dual Site, you will receive competitive salary in the region of £40,000 + Company Vehicle and Bonus.
