As a Sales Manager, you will play an integral part in identifying new business whilst maximising the relationship with our existing customers. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership team to develop and execute a sales strategy for the business.
You will use your experience and industry knowledge to maintain an up to date awareness of the market and our competitors and use this information to support the sales strategy.

Your Responsibilities
10. Focus on generating sizeable additional revenue through new and existing key customers
11. Conduct technical and commercial discussions with customers at all levels and present seminars when required
12. To support the generation of quotations and leading Customer negotiations as necessary, providing follow up and feedback on submitted quotes
13. Identifying, communicating and supporting cross-selling opportunities
14. Develop and maintain a pipeline with sufficient growth opportunities to exceed your budgeted revenue and your five year business plan.
15. To prepare and agree your annual revenue budgets or any such financial data as and when required.
16. Take action to ensure existing and new business meets profitability levels in line with Company expectations
17. Initial management and subsequent supporting of the introduction of new projects (NPI) and ensure smooth handovers to CSC
18. Provide feedback on Customers, Competitors, Opportunities, Markets, Pipeline and other sales related activities at the monthly Sales Review.
19. Monitor market demand for Coating Materials and Coating Equipment.
Your Profile
20. Ideally educated to degree/HNC level in engineering or qualified by experience
21. Technical sales background within aerospace, oil and gas or other highly regulated industries.
22. Experience of surface treatments, in particular PVD/thin film would be advantageous.
23. Excellent customer relationship management skills.
24. Ability to utlise and understand budgets and forecasting.
Essential skills
25. Target driven and self-motivated.
26. Ability to sell within the manufacturing/engineering industry.
27. Ideally knowledge of surface treatments in particular PVD/thermal spraying
28. Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team.
29. Ability to communicate within all levels of the organisation.
30. Strong industry knowledge with regard to surface treatments.
31. Advanced IT skills in particular Microsoft Office and SAP.
32. Experience of using CRM systems.
33. Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
34. Strong presentation skills with the ability to introduce our services to customers.
