Job Description
At Orona, we are global leaders in the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance and modernisation of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways.
Role
Mechanical or Electrical Engineers are required for the Verwood and South West areas. Candidates looking for their first or next step will be enrolled in the Transferable Skills Programme to gain the knowledge and experience to work as an independent Lift Engineer.
You will be trained by our experienced Lift Engineers and Technical Department to learn and understand the company and requirements of our industry. Depending on your learning progress, you will then be enrolled for the NVQ level 3 course within either the Installation or Maintenance of Lifts.
What We’re Looking For
* Mechanical or Electrical background demonstrated either through education or through recent work experience.
* Ideally possess one of the following;
* Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering,
* Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations,
* BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering,
* Ability to follow instructions and ensure safety guidelines are followed at all times.
* Demonstrate a willingness to develop and learn new skills.
* Clean UK driving licence.
