Curriculum Leader – ESOL
Salary: £36,912.00 to £41,904.00 per annum

Southport Education Group is seeking an experienced Curriculum Leader to lead our thriving ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) provision across two sites: Southport College and MYA Liverpool. The role involves curriculum development, staff management, ensuring high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, and supporting staff to improve learner outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the ESOL programme across both sites.
* Develop and implement curriculum and staff management plans.
* Ensure high-quality teaching, learning, assessment and outstanding observation feedback.
* Deliver teaching duties across both sites.
* Maintain and enhance the outstanding quality of the provision, fostering a culture of excellence.
* Conduct initial assessments and lead promotional activities to drive recruitment.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience leading ESOL programmes for adult learners 19+.
* Strong ESOL teaching expertise with a record of achieving results above national benchmarks.
* Experience teaching in the FE sector and developing courses that generate commercial income.
* Experience leading and supporting new and experienced staff members.
* Consistently very good or outstanding observation feedback.
* Ability to design and deliver ESOL qualifications from Entry Level to Level 1.
* Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children, young people and employees.
