Job Title: Senior Contracts Manager – Commercial Heating
Location: Worcestershire (projects across the Midlands and surrounding counties)
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + package
The Role:
• Deliver mechanical projects with a focus on commercial heating and hot water systems from tender to handover
• Take full ownership of projects post-award including pricing, mobilisation, delivery, and financial control
• Manage multiple projects ranging from £500 to £500k
• Carry out site surveys, attend meetings, and resolve technical issues
• Procure materials, plant, and subcontract services in line with programme and budget
• Manage engineers, pipefitters, and specialist subcontractors
• Oversee health & safety and site compliance
• Manage variations, staged payments, invoicing, and profitability
• Oversee commissioning and client handover
• Complete all project documentation including certification and reports
• Support larger remedial works alongside the service department

The Ideal Candidate:
• Mechanical qualifications or substantial time-served experience
• Strong background in commercial heating and hot water systems
• Proven experience managing mechanical/HVAC projects from start to finish
• Knowledge of Gas Safe regulations and industry standards
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Commercially aware with the ability to manage multiple projects
