About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Safer Communities as a Safer Communities Data and Intelligence Lead. In this role, you’ll be primarily working on developing and implementing safer communities’ analytic products, strategic needs assessments and information sharing agreements and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in this area.
About The Team You’ll Be Working In
The aim of the role is to develop any data and analytic work across Safer Communities in which the key accountabilities are outlined in the job description. The service works to ensure communities are safer by keeping our crime levels lower and increasing our resident’s perception of safety in the borough. The Safer Communities Data and Intelligence Lead post will report directly to the Safer Communities Manager.
About You
1. You can present and communicate efficiently and clearly with audiences to relay key messages effectively.
2. You are comfortable using different types of IT and data analytic tools with an appetite to learn new systems
3. You can source, collate and format, conduct basic analysis and present data for review and further analysis by others.
4. You work collaboratively and track changes to share with the wider team.
5. You are aware of the importance of information governance, data structures, and the way data can be joined and related.
6. You can juggle a demanding workload with minimal supervision, producing high quality work.
