About Us:
Colson Transport Ltd are a waste management company serving the East Midlands. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team and support the smooth running of our finance department.
The Role:
As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounts processes, and supporting the wider team. Proficiency in Sage Accounts software is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing sales and purchase invoices
* Credit control and handling supplier payments
* Credit checks and opening customer accounts
* Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
* Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
* Providing general administrative support to the finance team
About You:
* Proven experience in an accounts administration role
* Strong working knowledge of Sage Accounts (essential)
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident in handling numbers and problem-solving
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
