Group Manager – Education Catering

£35,000 per annum (Term Time Only)

Our client, an established independent education catering company, is seeking an experienced Group Manager to oversee catering operations across a number of primary schools in the Southampton/Gosport area.
This role would suit a strong operational catering manager/group/Area manager with experience in education or contract catering, looking for a term-time-only position with a good work–life balance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage catering operations across multiple primary school sites
* Lead, support, and develop on-site catering teams
* Ensure high standards of food quality, service, and presentation
* Maintain compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company procedures
* Build effective relationships with school leadership teams and stakeholders
* Monitor budgets, costs, and overall site performance
* Support menu delivery in line with nutritional and school food standards
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in education or contract catering management
* Proven people management and leadership skills
* Strong organisational and communication abilities
* Good commercial and financial awareness
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
Package
* £35,000 salary (term time only)
* Mileage allowance for travel between sites
* Monday to Friday working hours
