 
        We are looking for a project quality engineer to join our team and help ensure the highest of standards of quality across some of the most exciting engineering projects in the UK. Key Responsibilities * Attend internal design and external quality meetings to facilitate QC requirements * Assess product specifications and customer requirements * Generate manufacturing specifications from client's requirements * Generate overarching Inspection & Test Plans for projects * Ensure compliance with national and international standards * Ensure procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated, and that product modifications are investigated if necessary * Liaise and manage with customer QC to facilitate all of the QA requirements on a project * Perform internal and supplier audits against project requirements * Carry out manufacturing inspections on suppliers’ premises * Expediting suppliers to ensure approval and final documents are received on time * Act as key contact with customers' auditors and take responsibility for ensuring the execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers' specifications * Assess suppliers' product specifications, quality plans & ITP’s * Check drawing for manufacturability * Update the quality system as and when required * Write project quality requirements from client specifications. Technical competencies & Experience Essential * Knowledge of statistics is required with general numeracy, coupled with good interpersonal skills.
