3. Architect and document firmware solutions for regulated medical technologies, including real‑time embedded systems.
4. Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance C/C++ code for microcontrollers and embedded processors.
5. Build and validate low‑level drivers, communication protocols, and control algorithms optimized for safety and precision.
6. Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and regulatory compliance.
7. Diagnose and resolve issues using industry-standard tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers
The Successful Applicant
A successful Sr Staff Engineer, Embedded Engineering, should have:
8. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field with 8+ years of embedded development experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years.
9. Expert-level proficiency in C/C++ for constrained embedded environments.
10. Strong experience with RTOS and bare-metal firmware.
11. Hands-on knowledge of SPI, I2C, UART, USB, and other communication interfaces.
12. Background in control systems and firmware for motor-driven mechanisms (stepper/DC motors)
