Job role: Legal Administration Assistant - Costs Health

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (35 hours per week)

Role Overview

Introduction to the role: Our dedicated Costs department are looking to recruit a Legal Administration Assistant to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to the designated team leader, the Legal Administration Assistant will provide administrative support to the costs fee earners within the team, assisting in client and file management and compliance processes. The role requires adherence to data protection requirements established by the Health Business Group.


Introduction to the Team

The Costs Team are built up of experienced costs litigation professionals based across Liverpool, Manchester and London. With extensive experience of dealing with high value costs litigation, costs budgeting, appeals, group litigation and technical challenges. Our experienced advocates regularly attend national court hearings across the country. The costs team is part of the Health Business Group and is undergoing rapid expansion providing opportunities for personal development.


Key Responsibilities

* Providing support to the Head of the Team with the co-ordination of data information for clients
* File Management - creating and archiving files and ensuring compliance procedures are adhered to
* Records - archiving and recovery of records as requested by secretarial or fee earning staff
* Preparing case bundles and documenting against agreed protocols
* Scanning and photocopying documents
* Filing may be required occasionally
* Printing e-mail attachments
* General administrative assistance
