We are seeking experienced General Assembly Technicians to join an exciting High Voltage (HV) battery assembly project. You will work hands-on assembling battery packs and sub-assemblies in a safety-critical, high-tech manufacturing environment. Job Title: General Assembly Technician HV Battery Assembly Location: Coventry Rate: £24/hr LTD (Outside IR35) Contract: Minimum 6 months Shifts: MonFri 6:00am2:00pm / 2:00pm10:00pm (early finish on Fridays) Key Responsibilities: Assemble HV battery packs and sub-assemblies to build instructions and drawings Use hand tools, torque tools, and assembly fixtures safely and accurately Follow strict quality and safety procedures in a HV environment Support production targets and maintain high standards of workmanship Requirements: Level 3 qualification or equivalent (IMI, NVQ, City & Guilds, or engineering-related) Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or automotive environments Confident working around HV battery systems (training can be provided if needed) Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset Ability to work independently and within a team What We Offer: Competitive outside IR35 rate Long-term contract opportunity Stable shift pattern with Friday early finish Experience working on cutting-edge EV battery technology If this role sounds like it could be of interest, then please apply today for a confidential chat.
