Café Lead – Snow Mountain, LLC Location: Lassen Volcanic National Park, CA Season: May 18, 2026 – Mid-October 2026 (weather dependent) About Us: Snow Mountain, LLC operates in the breathtaking Lassen Volcanic National Park, one of America’s oldest national parks. Position Summary: As Café Lead, you’ll assist the Location Manager in guiding and supporting the café team. Your role ensures that food and beverages are prepared and served promptly, accurately, and with a smile, helping us deliver unforgettable guest experiences every day. What You’ll Do: Train and support café staff, modeling professionalism and excellent guest service Partner with the Location Manager to manage time and attendance records Ensure all guest orders are accurate and handled efficiently through the POS system Maintain expert knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions Handle cash and credit transactions honestly and accurately; assist with sales reports and tip reconciliation Coach and develop staff, maintaining thorough knowledge of company policies and café procedures Serve beverages responsibly in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations Support company initiatives for health, safety, and environmental/quality standards Collaborate with your team to achieve business objectives Other duties as assigned Qualifications: ServSafe Certification required High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year restaurant experience; resort or national park concession experience preferred Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Able to lift up to 25 lbs., bend, twist, squat, and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment Housing: Double occupancy rental housing is available.
