POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Senior Launch Delivery Manager (Senior LDM) to be the key contact to all Carlsberg Britvic stakeholders in the graphics packaging process, while also leading, coaching, and supporting the LDM team.
This senior position combines end-to-end project management expertise with leadership responsibilities, driving process improvements, ensuring financial accuracy.
This is a senior, client-facing role that demands both strategic oversight and hands-on project delivery. The successful candidate will be proactive, commercially aware, and committed to delivering excellence for both the client and SGK.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Project & Client Management
1. Full accountability for the packaging project timeline from design briefing through to production at the factory.
2. Host milestone meetings: kick-off, design reviews, artwork starts, and post-implementation reviews.
3. Maintain open and regular communication between stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project objectives.
4. Establish budgets and estimates covering all costs including artwork, repro, CGI, and plates.
5. Ensure risks are flagged early and milestones remain on track.
6. Maintain category activity plans for visibility of peak volumes and potential clashes.
7. Oversee the non-conformance process and corrective actions for SGK errors.
8. Support weekly client catch-up calls, providing updates and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Senior Responsibilities
9. Manage and balance the team’s workload, providing guidance and support.
10. Support and resolve invoicing queries
11. Implement new processes or updates, ensuring smooth adoption and training.
12. Maintain and update forecast documentation, including relevant cost tracking (e.g., plate costs in the Connect Tracker), and communicate any changes to the Account Director
13. First point of escalation for team, escalate critical issues and queries promptly to AD when needed.
14. Support Wave and SGK efficiency initiatives, including updates to the strategic roadmap.
15. Lead or support go-live, documentation, and training for Wave 3.0.
16. Manage and update client Artwork Bill of Materials ‘ABOMBs’ through Wave artwork approval system, including Wave revenue recognition.
17. Create and distribute the SGK newsletter.
18. Support AD with workload where possible
19. Provide updates to the client and internal teams to ensure transparency, alignment, and timely communication on any workflow or process changes.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
20. Partner with stakeholders across Marketing, Procurement, Design, Technical, Regulatory, and Print Partners.
21. Identify and drive continuous improvement to optimise the Carlsberg Britvic process.
22. Manage relationships and process improvements for third parties such as PepsiCo and print suppliers.
23. Attend print trials, supplier visits, and instore reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
24. Promote SGK services to maximise client benefit (e.g., Colour Lab).
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
25. Proven experience in critical path and end-to-end project management.
26. Strong leadership and workload management skills.
27. In-depth knowledge of production artwork, repro, CGI, design, and print.
28. Financial acumen for budget creation, forecasting, and invoicing.
29. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
30. Highly adaptable and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
31. Strong planning, time management, and attention to detail.
32. Ability to handle complex client situations with professionalism.
33. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and SAP; familiarity with project tracking tools.
