Job Opportunity: Carpenter/Handyman

Location: Swindon
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Until March 2026 (with potential for temp-to-perm)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay: Competitive

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Handyman to join our clients team in Swindon. This role will involve working with a social housing contractor to complete a variety of tasks across residential properties, including new builds, refurbishments, and general maintenance.

As a Carpenter/Handyman, you will be responsible for tasks such as general maintenance, door undercuts, installing trickle vents into UPVC windows, and blocking up vents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out door undercuts

2. Installing trickle vents into UPVC windows

3. Blocking up vents

4. General maintenance work

Requirements:

5. NVQ in Carpentry

6. Basic DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

7. CSCS Card

8. Asbestos Awareness (or willingness to obtain)
