Floor Manager
We are currently looking for an experienced Floor Manager to support the retail & pharmacy floor. The role is responsible for executing the store's strategy to achieve ambitious sales and profit targets, ensuring operational excellence, and cultivating a culture of exceptional, customer‑centric luxury service.
Responsibilities
* Execute Commercial Strategy & Drive Financial Performance: Support the drive to execute the store's annual and quarterly commercial strategy to maximize sales, profitability, and operational efficiency.
* Operational & Compliance Oversight: Be accountable for all retail compliance in Health & Safety, till operations, ensuring adherence to all company policies.
* Brand & Customer Experience Champion: Serve as a brand ambassador for John Bell & Croyden retail, ensuring the delivery of a consistent, high‑end, luxury customer journey that aligns with the store's "world‑class Wellbeing Emporium" status. Handle internal customer queries directly.
* Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between the Retail Floor and Main Office functions (e.g., Buying, Marketing, HR), and key brand partners to drive sales‑boosting initiatives and ensure product training is comprehensive and timely.
* Leadership & Succession Planning: Directly manage, coach, and develop the team of Floor Managers, acting as the store's chief talent scout. Own the creation and execution of the store‑wide succession plan.
* General Store Operation Duties: Support the retail & pharmacy business in general, including key holder duties such as opening, closing, day‑to‑day running of the store, efficient team scheduling, and becoming an expert at all things John Bell & Croyden.
Key Performance Indicators
* Financial: Achievement of overall store sales and profit targets. Average Transaction Value (ATV) growth. Management of conversion rate percentage.
* Customer & Brand: Improvement in Customer Satisfaction, specifically relating to luxury service standards and product knowledge.
* Store compliance audit scores (H&S, Security, Stock Management).
* People: Drive Floor Manager and team retention rates and professional development; ensure completion and quality of Performance Reviews for Floor Managers.
Essential Competencies
* Demonstrable track record of managing and achieving ambitious financial targets.
* Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire a high‑performing management team, driving engagement and succession.
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing customers and stakeholders.
* Exceptional planning and commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of commerciality in a retail setting.
Desirable Competencies
* Experience in a Healthcare or beauty‑related industry.
* Interest in general healthcare & wellbeing.
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years in a store manager level/role.
* Exceptional planning and commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of commerciality in a retail setting.
