This role will be focused on setting the standards for production and operational activities. As Lead Operative, you will lead and develop your team, remodel production activities towards world-class performance and make continuous improvement standard practice. You will inspire team members towards hitting their targets.
Location: Penrith CA11
Shifts: Monday to Friday schedule with a rotating 3-shift pattern (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am)
Great Pay: Start from £14.77/hour, with shift premiums and enhanced overtime rates
YOUR ROLE
* Understand and manage PSQDCI Board daily
* Communicate with your team the daily results
* Encourage good practice amongst your team
* Follow all company policies and procedures
* Maintaining quality checks
* Work within the specified budgets covering headcount, overtime, absence and holidays
* Cover the role of Value Stream Leader in their absence
* Ensure delivery targets are met and maintained OTIF
* Work closely with Value Stream Leader and Value Stream Manager to control costs
* Be available for stock taking and ensure correct recording of stock levels are carried out daily
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
* We are looking for someone who understands a 'SAFETY FIRST' culture and is able to achieve safety and quality standards
* Previous experience of organising, leading and training others
* Previous experience in a similar environment is desirable however not essential
