Our client is looking for a dedicated Account Executive to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service, efficiently processing sales orders, and managing inbound enquiries across various channels including the website, email, and telephone.
The core focus of this position is to convert enquiries into successful orders by providing accurate, timely, and professional support at every stage of the customer journey.
The Role
* Accurately process website orders and proactively convert quotations into confirmed sales.
* Provide expert guidance on product features, pricing, lead times, and artwork requirements to assist customer decision-making.
* Coordinate with suppliers to manage bespoke requests, stock levels, and fulfillment logistics.
* Manage customer claims regarding quality or delivery, escalating complex cases as necessary to ensure satisfaction.
* Handle high-volume inbound enquiries across all channels, utilising upselling and cross‑selling techniques to drive repeat business.
* Build comprehensive product and systems knowledge through regular training, supplier briefings, and industry events.
* Success in this role is measured through transparent metrics, including:
* Sales Targets: Achievement of specific order line goals.
* Service Quality: Monitoring of Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and direct customer feedback.
* Business Impact: Regular updates on overall company performance and growth.
Skills we are looking for
* GCSEs or equivalent.
* Proven track record in a customer service or sales‑oriented environment.
* IT literate (Microsoft 365 or equivalent).
* A‑Levels or further higher education qualifications.
* Experience in retail, inbound sales, or the promotional products/print industry.
* Familiarity with direct marketing or inbound sales workflows.
To be considered for the higher salary tier, you should possess extensive experience in high‑growth commercial settings with a clear history of achieving and exceeding targets.
