Padam Walburn Accountancy is a small, supportive accountancy practice dedicated to helping clients manage their finances with confidence. We offer a personal, hands-on approach and value strong relationships, trust, and clear communication.



Role Overview (part time 15-20 hours/week, hybrid workinh)

We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Practice Administrator to support the efficient and compliant operation of our small accountancy practice. This role is ideal for someone highly organised, comfortable handling confidential information, and confident working both independently and as part of a small team.

The position combines administrative, compliance, and client-facing responsibilities, with flexibility for remote working where appropriate.



Key Responsibilities

* Managing administrative processes using Bright Manager
* Handling client onboarding
* Ensuring compliance with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements
* Maintaining accurate records, filing systems, and digital documentation
* Scanning, filing, and general office administration tasks
* Supporting customer/client relationships and ensuring a positive experience
* Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
* Handling sensitive information in line with confidentiality requirements



Essential Skills & Experience

* Proven experience using Bright Manager
* Experience with onboarding processes and AML compliance
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* High level of attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
* Willingness to sign and adhere to a Confidentiality Agreement
* Comfortable and confident working around large dogs



Desirable Skills

* Background in client-facing roles
* Previous experience in a veterinary, healthcare, or professional services environment



Additional Information

* Ideally based close to Gloucester
* Part of the role can be carried out remotely
* Open to employed or self-employed arrangements
