Overview
We are looking for a Band 7 Business Operations Lead to join the Business Management Team within our Specialist Adult Support Services (SASS) division.
In this role, you will work across the entirety of the SASS division as a key member of the wider Business Management Team; assisting the Business Manager, Associate Director and Specialist Services Managers to drive and deliver service and quality improvement, and to manage contract compliance and performance reporting.
Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to audits, reviews and improvement projects to drive service and quality improvement within SASS.
* Manage and monitor all areas of contract compliance and performance reporting through understanding and overseeing the use of a range of systems and processes to help the division achieve its priorities.
* Work closely with services to support achievement of contractual and quality outcomes, initially focusing on supporting one Specialist Service through a period of transformation.
* Lead and manage the introduction of equitable and consistent changes within services, ensuring benefits are realised and captured.
* Contribute to and deploy robust systems and processes to improve contract performance and smooth operational running, ensuring consistency across all SASS services.
* Support the provision of overall strategic management, business planning and development.
* Contribute to the management and development of the Business Management team and administrative staff across SASS to provide resilience and consistency of services on a day-to-day basis, while ensuring long-term sustainability and development of services and consistency across the partnership.
* Develop excellent working relationships across BNSSG SASS services and with operational services at all levels.
You will
* Use a variety of management techniques to influence, shape culture, and enable the development of services and staff through training and coaching to achieve good outcomes.
* Work directly and harmoniously with colleagues such as SASS Managers/Clinical Leads, Business Partners, Operational Service Leads, and Corporate Services to develop and monitor service delivery, finance and performance across all services and geographies.
* Develop excellent working relationships across BNSSG SASS services, including operational services.

Qualifications and Training
* Recognised postgraduate management/leadership qualification.
* Experience of operational management including managing and developing services in a variety of locations.
Skills, Experience and Knowledge
* Demonstrates excellent problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to make informed decisions while considering wider organisational impacts.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to think creatively and analytically to manage competing priorities and busy workloads and ensure smooth operational running of the locality/services with the ability to develop them further.
* A good understanding of performance monitoring, corporate and financial data.
* Excellent IT skills, including comprehensive knowledge of relevant IT packages, with the ability to use, find, disseminate information using IT.
