We're working with a growing Birmingham-based creative agency who are looking for an experienced Head of Social to lead their social media offering end to end.
This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who loves shaping strategy, creating standout content, and developing people.
The Role
As Head of Social, you'll take ownership of the agency's social media function, leading both strategy and execution across multiple clients.
* Lead and develop a team of social media executives and creators
* Own social media strategy across key client accounts
* Oversee content planning, creation, and publishing across platforms
* Ensure campaigns are insight‑led, on‑brand, and performance‑focused
* Act as the senior social contact for clients, presenting ideas and results
* Stay ahead of social trends, platform updates, and content innovation
About You
You'll be someone who combines strategic thinking with strong people management skills.
Ideally, you'll have:
* Proven experience in a senior social media role (agency experience preferred)
* Experience managing and mentoring a team
* A strong understanding of social strategy, content, and performance
* Confidence leading client conversations and pitching ideas
