Working on one of their core products, as a Lead Back-end Engineer you will own the design, quality, and delivery of back-end systems and services working with Node.js primarily - and mentoring and leading a small, but growing team of software engineers. What You'll Do Lead and mentor more junior back-end engineers. Define architecture, coding standards, and best practices. Work with product and engineering teams to shape technical solutions. Build and maintain back-end services and APIs using Node.js. Supporting the Engineering Manager, you'll ensure systems are scalable, secure, and reliable. What We're Looking For You'll have deep commercial experience in back-end development (Node.js). You'll have a strong background in scalable, server-side architecture. Experience delivering services at scale. Comfortable working in agile teams. Strong communication and technical leadership skills. Salary Up to £85,000 with a leading benefits package which includes amazing annual leave entitlement (one of the best in the private sector) and share options.
