New Role: Underwriter - FinTech

I am currently partnered with a leading Syndicate who are seeking an Underwriter to join their growing FinTech team.
This role will be Underwriting PI, D&O and Crime risks for FinTech and Digital Asset clients within a Syndicate environment.
My client is looking for someone with a solid background in Financial Lines/FI/FinTech Underwriting, someone with strong broker connections in the London Market and an entrepreneurial attitude to growing a portfolio in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Underwrite Professional Indemnity, D&O and Crime risks for FinTech and Digital Asset clients on behalf of a Lloyd's Syndicate.
2. Assess complex, evolving exposures across emerging technologies, platforms and business models.
3. Develop and grow a profitable portfolio through disciplined risk selection, pricing adequacy and opportunistic underwriting.
4. Work closely with brokers to structure bespoke coverage, policy wordings and limits in a fast-moving market.
5. Monitor market conditions, loss trends and regulatory developments impacting FinTech and digital asset risks.
6. Track market trends, regulatory developments and loss drivers impacting FinTech and digital asset underwriting.
