SEN Teaching Assistant (Secondary) - Nuneaton
Location: Nuneaton
Contract: Full-time / Part-time (term-time)

We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged students with Special Educational Needs in a supportive and inclusive school in Nuneaton. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for secondary students with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties)
Support students in accessing the secondary curriculum across a range of subjects
Assist students with emotional regulation, engagement, and behaviour management
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours
Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Support students during lessons, transitions, and unstructured times where required
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with secondary-aged students, ideally with SEN
Be patient, resilient, and understanding
Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
Be able to adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
