HR Advisor
to join our clients People Team on a
9-month temp basis

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of People, you'll play a central role in delivering a full spectrum of HR services across the business-from employee relations and recruitment to policy delivery, training, and HR operations.
What You'll Be Doing
HR Administration & Operations
* Maintain and update employee records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
* Support benefit administration and employee enquiries.
* Ensure compliance with employment law, internal policies, and ISO requirements.
* Prepare and report on key HR metrics.
* Act as a first point of contact for HR system queries.
Employee Relations & Engagement
* Advise employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Help drive a positive and inclusive culture through engagement initiatives.
* Support in resolving employee concerns and managing conflict.
* Contribute to the development of retention and wellbeing strategies.
Recruitment & Onboarding
* Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from advertising roles to onboarding new starters.
* Work closely with hiring managers to understand team needs and build tailored job specs.
* Use multiple channels (including job boards and social media) to attract top talent.
* Maintain a strong candidate pipeline and ensure a great candidate experience.
Learning & Development
* Assist with administration for qualifications (e.g. CMI) and in-house training.
* Coordinate training logistics such as scheduling, attendee tracking, and materials.
* Deliver sessions on policies, ED&I, and performance management.
What We're Looking For
* Solid HR advisory experience across a broad range of functions.
* Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* Confident managing employee relations issues and providing sound guidance.
* Proven recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment.
* Comfortable using HRIS/ATS systems (ideally Employment Hero).
* Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A natural problem solver with a proactive and professional approach.
Qualifications
* Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)
* CIPD membership (or working towards) preferred
