Crime Solicitor — Position Overview:
You will manage a varied and challenging caseload of serious criminal matters, representing clients at all stages of proceedings while delivering high-quality legal advice and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities of the Crime Solicitor:
* Managing a caseload of serious criminal matters
* Conducting advocacy in both Magistrates’ and Crown Courts
* Advising clients throughout the legal process
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Supporting and mentoring junior solicitors and trainees
* Working collaboratively within a busy and dynamic team
Requirements of the Crime Solicitor:
* Qualified Solicitor with 4–5 years’ PQE in criminal law
* Strong experience handling serious criminal cases
* Excellent advocacy, communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
* Commitment to social justice and client care
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
* Police Station Accreditation and Duty Solicitor status desirable
